Pharr (KFXV) -- A former bank employee is accused of stealing more than $1 million from customer accounts.
43 year old, Cynthia Luna Rodriguez, who worked for Plains Capital Bank in Edinburg surrendered and went before a judge this morning.
Reports say a search of her private mailbox and accounts revealed a large amount of unexplained money being deposited into her accounts.
If convicted, Rodriguez faces up to 30 years in federal prison and a possible $1 million fine.
